$48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Grand Rapids seeking Mechanics who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose malfunctions.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, and equipment using hand tools and specialized equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities.
Conduct routine inspections and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and product quality.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Recommended Qualifications
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery malfunctions.
Experience executing and documenting preventive maintenance procedures.
Demonstrated understanding and strict adherence to industrial safety protocols (e.g., LOTO).
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
Proficiency in welding and light fabrication.
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
