Physical Therapist We are seeking PTs who will help us promote development and diversity in communication and who are driven to inspire feelings of belonging and inclusion for our clients and their families.
Requirements
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri
Bachelor level degree or above
Criminal Background Check
Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with the pediatric population
Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability

Professional and works with integrity
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion

Responsibilities
Conduct physical therapy evaluations of clients referred to physical therapy
Conduct re-evaluations of patients on a regular basis, as recommended
Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions according to individual needs
Participate in staff meetings and conferences indicated to review progress
Provide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to physical therapy and assist staff in maintaining open communication with parents concerning physical therapy problems
Conduct in-service training for staff, parents and others as necessary and requested
Supervise occupational therapy students and maintain records on students supervised
Supervise PTAs and maintain documentation as outlined
Perform duties at multiple locations, as needed
Operate all therapy equipment according to manufacturers and clinic guidelines
Prepare reports of evaluation and reevaluations
Prepare other reports relative to physical therapy
Maintain accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposes
Maintain current daily notes
Assist with program development
Plan and conduct special education programs related to physical therapy for staff and the community upon request
Attend meetings and training as requested
Adhere to policies and procedures of Children With Opportunity
Assist in providing a safe environment for all patients and staff
Assist with problem solving to improve efficiency within the clinic
Portray a positive attitude and maintain a customer and coworker satisfaction level that limits adverse situations or complaints
Promote clinic philosophies, generating team spirit and creating and maintaining an environment that fosters staff satisfaction, maximizes productivity and profitability
Maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices both on and off the job. (We provide PPE, caregiver communication tools and practices, and limit exposure through small work groups.)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $83,500.00 per year
