Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical malfunctions in machinery, control systems, and power distribution.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical infrastructure.
Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals for system installation and repair.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes (e.g., NEC), and company policies.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control centers.
Calibrate and test electrical equipment and instrumentation.
Recommended Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, VFDs, and sensors.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Strong working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and minor programming adjustments.
Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant safety standards (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
Bonus Qualifications
PLC programming and configuration experience
Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience
Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and optimization
Certified Thermographer for electrical systems
