Plasma Center Registered Nurse (Evenings and Weekend Availability Needed)
Join BioLife Plasma Services as a Plasma Center Registered Nurse. This role requires evening and weekend availability.
Job Description You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. Your responsibilities also include managing informed consent, administering blood tests, reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE), evaluating donor reactions, following SOPs for medical emergencies, referring to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs, supporting vaccination programs, managing employee incidents, and acting as Pandemic Coordinator when needed.
Responsibilities
Determine donor eligibility and obtain informed consent.
Perform medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing, and review lab results including SPE.
Manage donor adverse reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
Refer unsatisfactory findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs.
Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
Act as Pandemic Coordinator as authorized.
Qualifications
High school diploma or graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
Licensed or certified RN, NP, or PA in the state of assignment.
Current CPR and AED certification.
State license requirement for basic IV therapy.
Completion of FDA‑approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Compensation U.S. hourly wage range: $31.92 – $43.89. Pay commensurate with qualifications, experience, and location.
