Overview
LPN Nurse – Days and Nights – $33.55 base pay. Starting wage $30.15 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay. Yearly wage increases. This is a full-time opportunity with rotating weekends and some holidays at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center. Responsibilities
Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis as applicable. Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition. Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients. Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations. Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors to foster a positive healing environment. Qualifications
A current license to practice as an LPN (Practical Nurse) in Michigan; current CPR certification. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher. Strong analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to problems affecting well-being. Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate, innovative care. Team-oriented with dedication to supporting teammates and getting the job done.
