Salary Range:
$80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Grand Rapids that are seeking EHS Managers. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and policies.
Ensure site compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
Conduct EHS risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
Manage and deliver EHS training programs for all employees.
Oversee hazardous waste management, air emissions, and water discharge permits.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and reduce environmental impact.
Maintain accurate EHS records, documentation, and prepare regulatory reports.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Professional EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) highly preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with OSHA VPP (Voluntary Protection Programs) or similar high‑level safety culture initiatives.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency in EHS management software implementation and optimization.
Multilingual capabilities, particularly Spanish.
Experience developing and implementing sustainability programs or ESG initiatives.
