Psychologist (Grade 2) - Community Mental Health
Based at St Kilda Road Clinic within the Adult Community Mental Health Service. This is a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrists, Registrars, Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Peer Workers and Clinical Psychologists.
Role and Responsibilities
Provide clinical psychology services to clients of the St Kilda Road Continuing Care Team.
Offer consultation to other clinical staff and participate in relevant clinical activities.
May participate in the DBT and Psychological Interventions for Psychosis programs; experience in DBT and/or interventions for psychosis is highly regarded, with training and supervision available for the right candidate.
Actively participate in Alfred Psychology Department & St Kilda Road Clinic activities, including professional development sessions and case presentations.
Experience and Qualifications
Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009 or eligibility and willingness to participate in a registrar training program leading to endorsement.
Master or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
