Job Details The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) works closely with licensed providers to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced community clinic setting. This role supports both clinical and administrative functions to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
What You’ll Do
Perform basic patient assessments, including vital signs and infection control procedures
Assist with patient care for adults, geriatric patients, and occasionally pediatric populations
Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures
Assist with EKGs and other clinical procedures as directed
Interpret for patients and staff as applicable
Monitor and order medical supplies under provider or clinic leadership guidance
Participate in community outreach events or health fairs (3–4 times per year)
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Medical Technical School graduate preferred
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and CPR certification required
6 months to 1 year of healthcare or clinical experience
Proficiency in phleomy and basic lab procedures
Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA standards
Pediatrics experience preferred (but not required)
Valid Georgia driver’s license and safe driving record
Bilingual/foreign language skills a plus
