Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and program PLC and HMI applications for automated manufacturing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Lead the commissioning and startup of new equipment and process improvements.
Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel.
Ensure all control system designs and modifications comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and troubleshooting.
Experience with HMI/SCADA system development and configuration.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
Proficiency in robotics and/or advanced motion control system integration.
Ability to read, interpret, and design electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with robotics or machine vision system programming and integration.
Proficiency in a high-level programming language (e.g., Python, C#) for data analysis, scripting, or custom HMI/SCADA development.
Experience with MES/SCADA integration, data acquisition, or industrial data analytics platforms.
Understanding of industrial network cybersecurity principles and best practices for OT environments.
