$70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
Perform root cause analysis for tooling failures and implement effective corrective actions.
Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure tooling meets product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
Manage the lifecycle of tooling, including procurement, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
Develop and maintain tooling specifications, standards, and documentation.
Evaluate and implement new tooling technologies and materials to enhance efficiency and quality.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for tool design and analysis.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as stamping, injection molding, die casting, or machining.
Proven experience in the design, development, and troubleshooting of production tooling.
Knowledge of various tool materials, heat treatment, and surface finishing techniques.
Ability to apply GD&T principles and perform dimensional analysis.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
Experience with advanced CAD/CAM simulation and analysis software.
Knowledge of automation or robotics integration with tooling.
Project management experience related to tooling development or implementation.
Familiarity with various material science aspects related to tool steels, carbides, or advanced composites.
