BOSTONCHEFS.COM is hiring an experienced Service Manager / Assistant General Manager to lead front‑of‑house operations and guest experience at our Michelin‑awarded Japanese tapas restaurant in Cambridge.
Compensation $60,000+ DOE.

Role Responsibilities Team & Leadership
Training, coaching, and team development.
Daily floor leadership and accountability.
Operations
Opening/closing oversight.
Managing service flow, expo, and private dining/events.
Maintaining aesthetics, ambience, and standards.
Product & Beverage
Food and beverage knowledge (including allergies).
Beverage menu upkeep and wine stewardship.
Compliance with health and city regulations.
Guest Relations & Community
Building lasting guest relationships.
Managing guest databases and communications (Resy, Mailchimp, Tripleseat).
Community engagement and outreach.
Administrative & Financial
Website and online ordering updates.
Revenue tracking and sales goals (daily/weekly/monthly).
Systems & Tools
Google Suite, Toast, Resy, Tripleseat, Stripe, Shopify, DoorDash/Caviar.
Certifications
TIPS.
ServSafe.
Choke Saver.
