Job Details We are seeking a detail‑oriented QC Molding Inspector to support quality operations within our molding department. This role is responsible for inspecting molded components, documenting inspection results, and ensuring compliance with quality and record‑retention standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on molded components
Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and indicators
Verify molding machines are fully purged of previous components before new production runs
Identify and communicate nonconforming material to the Molding Lead
Notify the QC Supervisor of quality issues encountered during the shift
Accurately record and file inspection results, including first‑article and last‑shot documentation
Maintain quality records in accordance with established record‑retention procedures
Transfer files to long‑term storage as required
Lift materials up to 25 lbs as needed
Support overtime and shift coverage when required
Qualifications
Basic computer and data‑entry skills
Basic math proficiency
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Strong communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and follow documented procedures
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Proven experience working with calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, digital and dial indicators
Preferred Skills
Experience using measurement tools preferred
Keyence IM‑7000 (preferred, not required)
