The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular nursing, a passion for patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. 12 Hour Nights (United States of America) Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide advanced nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and post-surgical care for cardiac procedures. Responsibilities For This Role Include
Perform comprehensive assessments of cardiac patients, including monitoring vital signs, heart rhythms, and hemodynamic status. Administer medications, including IV drips, anticoagulants, and cardiac medications, as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, and implement appropriate interventions. Provide pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, pacemaker insertions, and other cardiac interventions. Educate patients and families on managing cardiac conditions, including lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and recognizing warning signs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, dietitians, physical therapists, and case managers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
