Responsibilities
Assist with coordination and collaboration with the broader clinical team for additional support and services
Establish and maintain relationships with providers, medical directors, and network contacts for issue escalation
Engage with providers to coordinate appropriate testing, appointment scheduling, and prescription refills and renewals
Provide counseling and follow-up on medications and appointments
Assist members with enrolling in special programs, such as medication co-pay assistance programs
Qualifications
Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in good standing with at least three years of work experience in this field
Experience with Medicare Part D operations, including pharmacy help desk and formulary management
Experience with pharmacy-related quality assurance (QA) work is strongly preferred
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Highly organized and detail-driven
Preferred Qualifications
Adaptable and flexible, willing to shift priorities
Collaborative and enjoys working as part of a team
Comfortable communicating with physicians, pharmacies, and patients
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is a self-starter
Transparent communicator about work processes and improvement strategies
