Program Development Coordinator 2 Are you passionate about the simultaneous renewal of university teacher preparation and K-12 public education? The BYU-Public School Partnership enjoys a rich 40-year history of fostering productive, trusting relationships between the university and surrounding public schools. Housed in BYU’s McKay School of Education, the Center for the Improvement of Teacher Education and Schooling (CTIES), facilitates the goals and programs of the BYU-Public School Partnership. What You’ll Do In This Position Financial Management
Fund handling and transacting
Budget coordination and billing
Financial software and supplier management
Contract preparation and systems management
Human Resources Processes and Management
Operational support for administrators
Meeting coordination and communication
Contract preparation and systems management
BYU-Public School Partnership Program Coordination
Event logistics coordination
Teacher endorsement class organization
Communication and record keeping
Office Management
Supply maintenance and equipment repair
Website review and record keeping
Required
A firm understanding of and commitment to the mission of BYU
Hold an associate’s degree with 5 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrate an ability to manage and maintain financial accounts and transactions
Consistently maintain a detail-orientation
Write in a clear and concise manner with accurate spelling and grammar
Record precise minutes in meetings
Demonstrate a professional demeanor, loyalty, willingness to learn, ability to work as a team member and independently
Command outstanding interpersonal communication and relationship‑building skill
Keep confidences
Possess a valid driver's license and ability to lift and transport boxes of books and supplies to various locations within the state
Preferred
Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of related experience
Workday experience
Understand the programs in the BYUPublic School Partnership (to learn more, visit http://byupartnership.org)
Have prior service in public schools
Have experience managing student secretaries to maximize performance and production
