Job Description Ticket Office Clerk
This position supports ticket sales and customer service for a wide range of campus sporting and fine arts events. The role is primarily phone‑based, assisting customers as they purchase tickets online, while also responding to emails and text messages during office hours. Additional shifts take place during evening events, providing in‑person customer service and ticket sales at event venues.
Note: This is a part‑time position (17.5) hours per week.
What You’ll Do In This Position
Sell tickets and assist customers with online purchases for athletic and fine arts events
Provide friendly, professional customer support via phone, email, and text
Work event shifts that include in‑person customer service and ticket sales
Enjoy working with people and delivering excellent customer experiences
Think logically and solve problems efficiently
Maintain a flexible schedule, including office shifts between 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and evening event hours
Work at multiple locations, including the Marriott Center, the Music Building, and other ticket office outlets during events
Required Qualifications
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
Preferred Qualifications
One year of box office experience
