Einstein Bros. Bagels is looking for a Shift Leader to help motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. The shift leader is the glue of the team, setting morale, coaching staff, and opening/closing the store independently.
Position Overview As a Shift Leader you will work directly with the General Manager, help maintain a safe and clean store environment, and support growth opportunities within the company. The store closes at 2 pm and shift leaders never work past 3 pm, ensuring evenings and nights are kept free for personal commitments.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate and coach the team.
Set the morale and tone of the team for the shift.
Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
Ensure quality of food and beverages and a safe, clean store environment.
Assist with training new team members.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to work varied hours, including early shifts as early as 3 am and weekends.
Must pass a background check in accordance with local, state, and federal law.
Must hold, or be able to obtain, a ServSafe Certification prior to leadership training.
Valid, state‑issued driver’s license preferred (required at some locations).
Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.

Physical Requirements The position requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical demands can be accommodated reasonably.
