We are seeking a Master Technician to serve as a consultant for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and service procedures. The Master Technician provides technical expertise, leadership, and guidance to other members of the service department, ensuring high‑quality work and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate core behaviors, including drive, a desire to learn, speed of execution, attention to detail, reliability, all of which contribute to delivering the exceptional service our customers expect.
Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard that exceeds customer expectations.
Perform advanced removal, replacement, and diagnostic work on a wide range of systems, including: emission control, throttle body injection, computerized electrical and ignition systems, anti‑lock brakes, cruise control, drivability issues, auto transmissions, A/C systems, and four‑wheel drive components.
Train and mentor service department team members in vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities.
Assist location managers with daily operations, including pricing work orders, requisitioning parts, shop organization, and supervising other service department members.
Perform duties of all Technician roles as needed and provide support to other team members when business demands.
Adhere to all safety regulations and operate machinery, equipment, and tools safely at all times.
Operate diagnostic and repair equipment, including scan tools, DSO, smoke machines, and other tools required for service work.
Maintain personal and company‑provided tools necessary to perform job duties effectively.
Perform any additional tasks necessary to ensure excellent customer service and smooth shop operations.

Ability to perform basic calculations, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs.
Work Environment
Fast‑paced automotive service environment.
Frequent exposure to varying temperatures due to the nature of the work and shop conditions.
Regular contact with automotive chemicals, including solvents, lubricants, and fluids used in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting tires or equipment.
Requires adherence to all safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Involves teamwork, reliability, and effective communication to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service are essential for success.
Experience & Education
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair
Certified Master Technician with advanced knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance, removal, replacement, and diagnostics.
ASE Certifications in one or more of the following areas: Suspension & Steering, Brakes, Heating & Air Conditioning, Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling, Engine Repair, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, Auto Advanced Engine Performance, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Manual Drive Train & Axles
Valid driver’s license required.
