Conference Assistant Duties & Responsibilities – Hourly Rate
Inspect rooms prior to and after conferences, including distribution and collection linen
Manage meal cards, parking passes, and key inventory for summer guests
Perform summer camp and conference check‑in and check‑out duties
Utilize Iris software to track damages, lost keys, and other details important to camps and conferences
Hourly Rate: $10.00 per hour

Inspect rooms prior to and after conferences, including distribution and collection linen
Manage meal cards, parking passes, and key inventory for summer guests
Perform summer camp and conference check‑in and check‑out duties
Utilize Iris software to track damages, lost keys, and other details important to camps and conferences
Be available in the evenings, weekdays and weekends, in the residence halls to help ensure safety/security of buildings and our camp participants
$500 bi-weekly, gold bucks, single room accommodation – depending on the needs of the conference program
Conference Assistants must also:
Report and follow‑up on maintenance and housekeeping concerns as needed
Serve as positive University representatives on and off campus as well as online
Provide excellent customer service to camp and conference guests at East Carolina University
Participate in departmental initiatives
Understand and enforce University policies and procedures appropriately
Other duties as assigned
