Special Education Teacher

Rocklin, CA 95677 Pay:
$65–$75 per hour (based on experience and assignment) Schedule:
Full-time or long-term contract options available
Position Overview ISO Workforce Alliance is partnering with Rocklin Unified School District to support students through high‑quality Special Education services. We are seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to provide instruction, case management, and collaborative support to students with disabilities in K–12 settings.
The Special Education Teacher works under the supervision of the school principal and collaborates closely with general education staff, related service providers, and families to support student success.
Responsibilities
Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
Participate in all eligibility, planning, and IEP meetings
Provide a learning environment that respects individual differences and student dignity
Coordinate mainstreaming and inclusion practices as appropriate
Work collaboratively with school staff to support effective instruction
Maintain functional, organized learning environments
Complete required reports and documentation for district, county, and state compliance
Conduct educational assessments and progress monitoring
Attend team meetings and professional collaboration sessions
Follow all policies under the California Education Code, Title V, and district procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in Special Education required
Experience working with students with disabilities across grade levels preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mild/moderate and/or moderate/severe populations
Master’s degree or post‑graduate coursework in education or a related field
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
Light physical work environment
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
