Immediate opening for a SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver. We want the right trucker to join us.
Position Description The position is a solo driver, operating a straight 26' truck with regional routes (VA, NC) and no weekends. Schedule runs Tue–Fri, with a start time of 3:00–4:00 AM.
Compensation
$1,200 per week
Hourly pay: $28.00
Annual hours: 40 per week
Per diem: $40 per night with 2 nights out per week (Ryder booked hotel)

Requirements
Minimum 21 years old
Pass Ryder drug test, background & motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
Class A or B experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5, or 5 years in past 10
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and read/interpret laws, regulations, policies
Some positions may require additional screening (employment history, credit, etc.)
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
Maintain accurate records and logs
Load/unload freight or assist loading/unloading when required by customers
Perform other duties as assigned
