Role Ensure proper paint and related maintenance of the resort through fulfillment of guest requests and on‑going preventative maintenance. All duties are performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and company policies to ensure overall facility integrity.
Responsibilities
Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all furniture, cabinetry, rooms, public areas and offices.
Complete jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain logbooks.
Understand layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment.
Conduct ongoing paint and paint‑related repairs of guest units and all public areas.
Proactively check for and address any areas requiring maintenance or repair.
Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions.
Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention, wearing/use PPE.
Perform other job‑related duties as requested.
Keep maintenance shop(s) clean and organized.
Maintain inventory log of all supplies to ensure par levels are on hand at all times.
Follow all safety procedures.
Working knowledge of a 2‑way radio.
Requirements
Effective oral and written English communication skills.
Minimum six months to one year of industrial painting experience.
Excellent design skills and detail‑oriented.
Ability to draw and interpret design templates.
Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
