If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.**About The Opportunity**The Die Cutter Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operator with keeping the equipment running finished product while checking quality.**Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities**1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures2. Demonstrate constant awareness of safety practices and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor3. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines4. Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirements5. Assist with mounting Dies6. Communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end7. Assist with decision regarding the quality of finished product8. Palletize stacks of finished product on Pallets9. Complete required quality inspections and paperwork10. Work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance11. Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary12. Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area13. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements14. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors**Performance Measures and Outcomes**1. Adherence to safety policies and procedures2. Quality of work3. Production goals**Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner2. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business3. Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed4. Ability to effectively work in teams5. Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people6. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles7. Average math skills8. Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in English9.
