Primary Function As a Long-term Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to Special Education students, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
Responsibilities
Facilitate student learning in concepts and skills for Special Education students
Implement lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet student needs
Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and development

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole
Terms of Employment Duration of Teacher’s Absence
