Key Responsibilities
Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
Fabricate and assemble metal components according to project requirements.
Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
Grind, cut, and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Strong understanding and adherence to welding safety protocols and PPE.
Physical dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience working with various metal types (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
Relevant welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick, Flux-Cored)
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints or schematics
Fabrication and fitting experience
Familiarity with quality control procedures or non‑destructive testing (NDT) principles
Forklift certification or experience operating other heavy machinery
