Overview

This is a HVAC/R Technician role with Nextech, a leading HVAC/R service provider. You will deliver reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers Benefits and Compensation

High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician EPA certification and a valid driver’s license Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed This is a physically active role. You should be able to: Safely work at heights using ladders up to 28-32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits Lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks Maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity Stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day Use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously Operate iPads, cell phones, and computers Travel to customer sites as needed Follow all applicable safety procedures Reasonable accommodations may be provided under the ADA for qualified individuals if essential job functions can still be safely performed
