LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, DAVIDSON COUNTY

This position is located in the Information Technology Division - Enterprise Support Services - TMC Support Section.

The starting salary for this position is $9,167 monthly / $110,004 annually.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Associate's degree in Information Technology and three years of related professional experience. Graduate coursework or additional professional experience may substitute for education or experience requirements.

Necessary Special Qualifications Valid Driver's License.

Examination Method: Education and Experience, 100% for Preferred Service positions.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead enterprise network operations and upgrades. Evaluate network performance and determine infrastructure needs. Coordinate security measures to protect enterprise systems and data. Diagnose and resolve critical hardware, software, or system issues. Design and implement network configurations and prototypes. Coordinate with engineering teams and external agencies. Train and mentor team members on advanced networking procedures. Create and maintain procedural and technical documentation.
