Location: Nashville, TN. Department: Tennessee Department of Transportation, Information Technology Division – Enterprise Support Services – TMC Support Section. Position opening: 1 of 1. Full‑time.
Salary: $6,544.00 - $8,454.00 monthly ($78,528.00 - $101,448.00 annually). Opening date 01/06/2026, closing date 01/12/2026.
Overview Under direction, this classification leads enterprise network operations involving advanced support, coordination, and supervision. The senior role oversees planning and implementation of network maintenance, upgrades, and performance enhancements and ensures network integrity and security.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead enterprise network operations and upgrades.
Evaluate network performance and determine infrastructure needs.
Coordinate security measures to protect enterprise systems and data.
Diagnose and resolve critical hardware, software, or system issues.
Design and implement network configurations and prototypes.
Coordinate with engineering teams and external agencies.
Train and mentor team members on advanced networking procedures.
Create and maintain procedural and technical documentation.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Information Technology and three years of related professional experience, or equivalent through graduate coursework or additional experience.
Valid driver’s license.
