Under direction, this classification leads enterprise network operations involving advanced support, coordination, and supervision. Oversees planning and implementation of network maintenance, upgrades, and performance enhancements. Senior role in the Network Operations Administrator series. Provides strategic guidance for enterprise networking projects, supervises personnel, and ensures network integrity and security. This class differs from the Network Operations Administrator-Adv in that an incumbent of the latter performs network operational duties in gathering data pertaining to customer needs and plans, coordinates, and implements enterprise network security measures to protect data, software and hardware. Responsibilities
Supervise and lead enterprise network operations and upgrades. Evaluate network performance and determine infrastructure needs. Coordinate security measures to protect enterprise systems and data. Diagnose and resolve critical hardware, software, or system issues. Design and implement network configurations and prototypes. Coordinate with engineering teams and external agencies. Train and mentor team members on advanced networking procedures. Create and maintain procedural and technical documentation. Competencies (KSA's)
