Base Pay Range $17.00/hr – $17.00/hr
Overview The associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented. Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner. Maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
Responsibilities
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers positively.
Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports per company policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Access the internet, navigate electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Local food handlers permit may be required.
English as primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Physical Demands Stand and walk during the shift; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions and perform tasks; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs); push and pull a fully loaded wheeled demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; contact cleaning supplies.
Work Environment Retail store environment with limited travel.
