Responsibilities The Service Advisor communicates with customers regarding vehicle repair needs and coordinates with Service Technicians. Key duties include:
Greeting customers and determining repairs and costs.
Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of Boss Shops services.
Contacting customers to update them on repair status.
Coordinating the service center’s scheduling and workflow.
Creating estimates and work orders, finalizing payments, and handling all cash policies.
Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with Technicians as needed.
Consulting with Technicians about needed repairs and communicating those needs to the customer.
Increasing knowledge of products and services to meet industry needs.
Keeps all customer‑facing items clean, stocked, and up to date.
Receives merchandise, stocks, and updates pricing for showroom products.
Maintains a complete understanding of the Boss Shop Warranty process.
Assigns work to technicians following company guidelines.
Practices and adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
Reports work in a timely manner when scheduled.
Additional Duties
Assists with other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience
Retail or guest service experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license; insurable to drive.
Ability to maintain a working knowledge of parts inventory.
Ability to complete the Service Advisor New Team Member Training within 90 days of employment.
Computer system proficiency.
Reading, writing, and math skills.
Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Flexibility to adapt to change.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexible schedule (may include weekends and evenings).
Reliable transportation and phone.
English communication proficiency (if applicable).
Friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
Cooperative teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements The physical demands include, but are not limited to, lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.; frequent standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, reaching, talking, hearing, occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Compensation Pay range: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience.
