The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to the service technicians. Duties include greeting customers, determining repairs and costs, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the Boss Shops service range, and updating customers on repair status.
Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
Greets customers promptly and provides friendly, competent customer service.
Coordinates the service center’s scheduling and workflow.
Creates estimates and work orders, finalises payments, follows all cash handling policies, and places parts orders for all jobs.
Answers customer questions about service outcomes and consults with technicians as needed.
Understands marketing and sales strategies to finalize all transactions.
Consults with technicians about needed repairs and communicates those needs to the customer.
Improves knowledge of products and services to better serve customers.
Maintains all customer‑facing items cleaned, stocked, and up to date.
Receives merchandise, stocks, and updates pricing for all showroom products.
Maintains a complete understanding of the Boss Shop Warranty process.
Assigns work to technicians within company guidelines.
Adheres to all company safety policies to ensure a safe environment.
Reports for work timely when scheduled.
Additional Job Duties
Assists with other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Retail or guest service experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and insurable to drive.
Working knowledge of parts inventory.
Complete Service Advisor New Team Member Training within the first 90 days.
Efficient computer system usage.
Reading, writing, and math skills.
Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
Reliable transportation and phone.
English communication (if applicable).
Friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
Cooperative teamwork.
Physical Requirements
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.; frequently stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, reach, talk, and hear; occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
