Behavior Technician (BT) – Children – Caravel Autism Health Do you want a career that makes a difference? Do you want to change lives? One child at a time can be your impact! Caravel Autism Health is looking for caring, compassionate, mentor‑mindful people to teach kids to thrive. Our Behavior Technicians (BT) work in a clinic‑based setting, playing and encouraging little learners while incorporating targets from their treatment plans. You’ll implement goals to increase desirable skills and reduce challenging behaviors, use a results‑oriented approach called applied behavior analysis, and document progress while engaging special kiddos in fun activities to build skills and social awareness.

Responsibilities

Provide one‑to‑one client sessions in a clinic‑based environment.

Implement and record data for individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis.

Encourage and reinforce desirable skills and reduce challenging behaviors during sessions.

Support clients in achieving milestone moments such as sharing feelings or learning new skills (e.g., riding a bike).

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field is preferred.

Availability to work full‑time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (clinics open a few Saturdays a month for make‑up sessions).

Relevant experience working with children with special needs is preferred.

Display a fun and creative personality, strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work at least 18 years of age.
