Reputable litigation firm is seeking a highly skilled litigation
Paralegal/Legal Assistant
to provide comprehensive litigation and administrative support. This hybrid role combines responsibilities typically associated with paralegals, legal secretaries, file clerks, and general office assistants. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing complex litigation tasks.
Base pay range $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Location Monrovia, CA
Salary $85,000.00 - $105,000.00
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and file documents in
state and federal courts
(including e-filing).
Assist attorneys with
trial preparation .
Perform
cite checking
and
proofreading
of legal pleadings.
Prepare
Tables of Contents (TOC)
and
Tables of Authorities (TOA)
for pleadings.
Draft and organize
discovery documents .
Prepare correspondence and legal forms.
Organize and manage case documents and productions.
Maintain
case calendars
and deadlines.
Interact with clients and co-counsel; greet clients and guests.
Perform other paralegal duties as needed.
Top Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience
and a
paralegal certificate .
Proficiency in
e-filing for state and federal courts .
Experience preparing
discovery
and
TOC/TOA for pleadings .
Strong background in
trial preparation .
