Imaging Coordinator-Second Shift, Full Time 80Hrs/Pp - Bronson Battle Creek
Location: BBC Bronson Battle Creek
In the Imaging department, the Imaging Coordinator works under physician guidance to support operation and maintain patient scheduling and flow. The role requires direct patient care competencies specific to the population served, with general supervision and established procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
1 year clinical healthcare experience required.
BLS certification.
Prior experience with intravenous access or completion of intravenous access training and competency within 1 month of hire.
Computer knowledge including hardware and applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with end‑user business practices to support applications and workflows in a healthcare delivery environment.
Job Duties
Assist technologist with direct patient care.
Prepare patients for imaging exams, including escorting patients to intravenous access and reviewing safety questionnaires and medical records.
Follow policies for MRI and radiation safety and protection.
Communicate effectively with ancillary departments (e.g., Nursing, Transport, Facilities, PACS).
Stock department and order supplies as needed.
Cleans and maintains equipment appropriately.
Report equipment problems to technologists or leadership.
Demonstrate excellent customer service when answering the phone.
