Overview
Sales and Service Technician (SST) at Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC (BSRO). This hybrid role in stores is a key pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. The role is primarily responsible for serving customers by assessing needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services.
Responsibilities
Customer service, sales, and issue resolution; focus on delivering a positive customer experience (approximately 75%).
Basic vehicle service tasks (oil, tires, fluids) and related handling (approximately 25%).
Store operations support, including opening/closing, inventory, and displays as needed.
Growth and Career Development
May assist the Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to support development.
Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front and back shop tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid automobile driver’s license.
Customer service and career growth mindset.
Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
Ability to learn and operate store systems.
Preferred Qualifications
2-year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or demonstrated growth mindset.
Previous consumer retail sales experience.
Previous automotive experience a plus.
Previous management/supervisory experience a plus.
