A hard‑working, night‑owl partner is needed to keep H‑E‑B shelves stocked and organized during overnight shifts. Your energy and stamina are essential to keep our nighttime crews on track while everyone else is asleep.
Responsibilities As a Night Stocker, you’ll become part of a highly‑functioning team in the Grocery or Drug Store department. You will watch out for each other, work to meet common goals, and share a nighttime work lifestyle. You’ll learn about multiple products and departments across the store, building a foundation for future roles and a potential career with H‑E‑B.

Stocks shelves and refills displays
Loads, unloads, and moves heavy, bulky products; may unload trucks
Conditions shelves and products
Learns product knowledge and applies detail (e.g., rotation dates, shelf/label info) to meet A+ standards
Keeps department clean and well‑organized (includes back room and shelves)
Applies personal discipline to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and leader direction
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and company food safety and sanitation standards
Works efficiently and with a team attitude; complies with productivity standards
Takes constructive feedback well and applies learning to future tasks
May coach or train other stockers
Customer Service
Operates with a team mindset; works cross‑functionally; builds relationships across departments (e.g., Curbside)
Models customer service and hospitality with customers and store partners
Assists customers in locating products and answering product questions
Background
Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
Experience in stocking and customer service (preferred)
Experience in a physically demanding job (plus)
Forklift/power jack training (provided on hire)
Requirements
Understanding of SOPs and emergency procedures
Communication skills; reading/writing skills
Organization and time‑management skills
Customer service skills; service mentality
Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks that sometimes include heavy lifting
