Work Schedule:

Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Hours vary due to needs of the unit, 12 months/year

Probationary Period:

Six (6) months minimum

Responsibilities

Act in a lead capacity by training and supervising student workers in the assigned area to ensure accurate and proper receiving, stocking and rotation procedures.

Responsible for training student workers and temporary staff in proper techniques of food handling, time and temperature controls, sanitation, cleanliness and proper food storage in accordance with ServSafe standards.

Handle recycling, including proper bailing of cardboard.

Keep all storage areas organized, clean, sanitized as necessary, and safe.

Keeps coolers, freezers and shelves stocked and properly faced.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience in procurement, receiving, stocking and maintaining store room or ordering management.

Familiarity with CBORD (food management system) forms.

Degree in Foodservice management, or similar, or equivalent experience in a high-volume foodservice establishment.
