THE CLIENT Our client is a highly respected private equity firm with decades of industry experience and a stellar reputation in the market. While headquartered in the Midwest, their Midtown Manhattan office houses a close-knit team of about 40 professionals. The firm is deeply committed to investing in its people, which is reflected in their long‑tenured, collaborative, and highly valued administrative team.
THE ROLE This Executive Assistant position provides dedicated 1:1 support to a senior member of the Investment Deal Team, serving as a trusted partner and key resource in a fast‑paced, transaction‑driven environment. You will play a critical role in supporting deal execution and team efficiency, ensuring smooth operations and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Complex calendar management across multiple time zones for deal‑related meetings and diligence sessions
Coordination of domestic and international travel for roadshows, investor meetings, and deal closings
Expense tracking and reconciliation for deal‑related activities
Preparation and organization of materials for investment committee meetings and deal processes
THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and thrives in a high‑stakes, fast‑paced environment. They bring professionalism and discretion to every interaction and have a proven ability to anticipate needs and manage shifting priorities.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
Proven experience supporting an Investment Deal Team or senior investment professional
Background in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or other alternative investment environments is required
Ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic, transaction‑heavy environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed; a true team player
THE COMP/BENEFITS
Paying up to $200k
Hybrid schedule: 4 days a week in the office
