Job Overview As a key Solutions Architect to the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services IT team, you will design and drive the implementation of next‑generation IT solutions in alignment with overall IT and Business strategic direction. You will work with a diverse team on the latest technologies to optimize our business applications and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Design and drive the implementation of next‑generation IT solutions in alignment with overall IT and Business strategic direction (40%).
Gather and document business requirements and translate them to design solutions (40%).
Oversee and address customer issues/tickets by performing root cause analysis and eliminating repeat problems (40%).
Act as a consultant for new or existing technologies, processes or solutions that contribute toward the realization of domain strategies and manage medium to large projects within the team and across multiple application domains (20%).
Qualifications
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application.
No relocation assistance will be provided for this position.
Minimum of 5+ years of overall work experience.
Preferred experience:
Business (General): 3+ years
Information Technology: 5+ years
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Recommended majors include Information Technology, Computer/Information Science.
Additional Knowledge: Customer Service, Chatbot, Multi‑channel customer service.
Experience with Pega and comprehensive understanding of SDLC, IT Governance and Security processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trusting and productive relationships with business partners, colleagues, and management.
Ability to learn quickly, excellent time management and organization skills, and capability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Skills
Analytical Skills: Ability to collect data, establish facts, identify trends and variances, and integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity.
Facilitation Skills
IT Skills: Database, testing, operating system, middleware, application development.
Problem Solving Skills
Project Management Skills: Project leadership.
Recommended Prerequisites
Developer; Systems Analyst.
