Overview We are seeking a seasonal Food & Beverage Manager to ensure exceptional service at our Aquatics Café and Pool Pavilion Bar. As the primary manager for this venue, you will oversee daily operations and maintain the highest standards of service. This position provides a great opportunity for a college student looking for a management-in‑training program or entry‑level management experience from a platinum level private athletic club.

Primary Responsibilities

Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC).

Assume an active role in training and coaching of the café and pavilion staff.

Prepare the closing report with the Culinary MOD, including successes and defects from the evening.

Review member charges to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies reported by members or accounting department.

Monitor and restock inventory for all service items including plates, cutlery, cups, and paper products.

Ensure that state and local laws as well as AAC policies are followed.

Maintain a presence on the floor to visually monitor and ensure food quality and service standards are met.

Ensure the cleanliness and safety in all restaurant areas including beverage equipment.

Coordinate food service between kitchen and service staff.

Address member and guest complaints promptly and report on appropriate corrective actions that were taken.

Complete other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Restaurants.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a pleasant personality

Flexible schedule, including availability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Ability to obtain an alcohol pouring permit from the City of Johns Creek

Education & Experience

College degree in Hospitality preferred but not required.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory position.

Prior experience in a fast‑paced dining environment with a strong track record of progression and growth.
