LEAVE REPLACEMENT ELEMENTARY TEACHER (Rombout Middle School)
Valid NYS Certification in Childhood Education Grades 1-6, required;
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following are required:
NYS Learning Standards and curriculum design, delivery, and assessment;
Effective, student centered classrom management strategies;
Differentiated instructin to support the needs of diverse learners in the classroom;
Culturally respnsive instructional practices for elementary classrooms;
Integratin of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning;
Use f summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress;
Effective strategies fr student and family engagement;
Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, required;
Background in Math curriculum preferred.
