Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher AB Staffing is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for the 2025/2026 school year. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited college or university Valid State of Nevada professional teacher certificate with Special Education Endorsement Proficiency in subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting special education At least one year of teaching experience with students with disabilities, including behavior disorders and learning delays (preferred) Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, see and read printed and digital materials, hear and understand speech, and communicate clearly Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, and lift up to 25-40 pounds as needed Job Description: Caseload and classroom type vary by school location. The contract runs through the 2025/2026 school year, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, following the academic calendar. As a Special Education Teacher, you will: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and programs tailored to student needs Adapt curriculum based on IEPs and learning styles Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress Create a safe, organized, and positive learning environment Manage behavior and foster a productive classroom atmosphere Provide individualized and group instruction using specialized techniques Assess and record student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary Ensure compliance with regulations and complete required documentation Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student success Engage in ongoing professional development Salary:
