Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring Reach Truck Forklift Operators in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Pay and Schedule
Hourly Pay
$20.00 per hour
Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working 2nd shift
Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (Second shift)

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
One (1) year or more related warehouse/powered‑industrial‑truck experience (preferred)
Valid Forklift Operator’s License (certified)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organization levels (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance
Performs work independently with minimal supervision
Shows high initiative and accuracy under pressure
Can lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
Complies with health and safety procedures
Available for flexible scheduling across various shifts
Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Important Note:
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor‑vehicle record checks; road tests; and/or background checks or badging requirements from the customer.
Responsibilities
Complete warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Perform duties within performance‑measurement guidelines of the contract
Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shifts
Complete other duties as assigned
