Forklift Operator Join Ryder System, Inc. as a Reach Truck Forklift Operator located in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This role involves operating various forklifts and automated packaging systems to support warehouse operations.

Position Description Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working 2nd shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Maintain accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.

Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).

Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.

Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

At least one year of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).

Valid Forklift Operator's License, certified.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Team player in a diverse work environment.

Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual.

High level of accuracy, even under pressure.

Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Work safely using health and safety methods.

Flexible schedule across various shifts.

Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
