Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring for Reach Truck Forklift Operators to support warehouse operations. The role includes responsible handling of Engine and HVAC parts, operating stand‑up reach trucks, sit‑down forklifts, cherry/order pickers, and walkie riders. You’ll work in a state‑of‑the‑art environment with a focus on safety and teamwork.
Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour for 2nd shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm (2nd shift)
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
At least 1 year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
Valid Forklift Operator's License
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Team player in a diverse work environment
Professional relationship building at all organizational levels
Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with a good attendance record
High initiative and strong accuracy under pressure
Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
Adherence to health and safety methods
Flexible availability for various shifts
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
