Situated on 220 beautiful acres in Reidsville, NC, we offer traditional, overnight, summer camp experiences to campers ages 8-17 and serve over 800 youth from diverse backgrounds each summer. Camp activities offered include: archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, challenge course, climbing wall, environmental education, goat husbandry, swimming, and more!

Benefits

Brief Position Details

Cabin Counselors

(Starting Pay $300/week): Responsible for daily care and supervision of campers 8-12. Duties include group supervision 24/6, group management, encouraging positive relationship building, behavior management, facilitation of basic programming.

Adventure Program Counselors

(Starting Pay $325/week): Facilitate outdoor living and adventure programming for campers 12-14. Includes duties of Cabin Counselor plus overnight tent‑camping and off‑site river tubing & rock climbing trips led by the Adventure Coordinator. Training in American Red Cross Lifeguard, High Ropes, climbing at Pilot Mountain provided.

Activity Counselors

(Starting Pay $300/week): Instruct specialized activities: Arts & Crafts, Archery, Climbing Wall/Challenge Course, STEM. Responsibilities: activity instruction, safety, equipment & supplies management, program area set‑up/break‑down, basic curriculum development, support tasks, and camper supervision during activities and overnight.

Lifeguards

(Starting Pay $300/week): Run all aquatic programming. Work in groups of 2-3 to ensure safety. Prepare activity areas, lead instruction, maintain equipment, support tasks and oversee supervision. Must hold current certification (American Red Cross Lifeguard, training provided).

Aquatics Coordinator

(Starting Pay $425/week): Responsibilities include those of Lifeguards plus manage lifeguard team, schedule flow, daily equipment checks, communication with leadership, lead trainings, support tasks, overnight supervision. Requires current lifeguard certification or willingness to become certified and at least 1 year relevant experience.

Healthcare Staff

(Starting Pay $425/week): Manage day‑to‑day health and wellbeing of campers & staff. Duties: work with Camp Nurse, organize medical forms, administer medication, minor first aid, respond to emergencies, on‑call during camp. Must be certified in First Aid/CPR/AED (training provided). Wilderness First Aid/EMT/CNA a plus.

Lead Staff

(Starting Pay $425/week): Perform administrative, camper/staff management, support tasks. Assist with setup/breakdown of activity areas, communicate professionally, facilitate team dynamics, serve as positive role models.

Work Schedule Approximate employment from

May 29th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026 . Actual start dates may vary per position. Most work weeks begin around noon on Sunday and end around 2pm on Friday. You will be with campers at all times Sunday‑Friday (except scheduled breaks) and are required to live on site Sunday‑Friday in gendered cabin spaces supervising groups of campers.

Minimum Experience/Education

18 years of age or older by work start date

High School Diploma or equivalent

Positive attitude, professionalism, compassion, love for sharing knowledge with children, ability to follow directions and work independently

Prior experience working with children, prior camp or informal education setting (preferred)
