Responsibilities
Under the direction and supervision of the Mott Training Center Manager, the Analyst I will:
Provide technical analytical staff services including planning, monitoring, evaluating, contracting and procurement, budgeting, accounting, research, and report preparation.
Manage multiple projects, coordinate schedules, and arrange training and lodging needs for internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, adapting to the center’s needs with courteous customer service.
Execute acquisitions and transactions using a Cal-Card, including reconciliation.
Assist in the development and maintenance of internal policies, processes, procedures, and other resources for the Mott Training Center.
Perform occasional travel throughout the State of California as required.
Maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and provide required details on the application.
Minimum Requirements Minimum salary for Analyst I: $3,861.00 – $6,464.00 per month.
Minimum experience and education as outlined in the Class Specification for Analyst I.
Valid California Class C driver’s license.
Ability to meet the currency schedule and respond promptly to assignments.
Desirable Qualifications Strong organizational, mathematical, analytical, and research skills.
Knowledge of California business, contracting, and procurement policies.
Experience with Completed Staff Work.
Scheduling and coordination of meetings and events.
Familiarity with the Financial Information System for California (Fi$Cal).
Data analysis, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
Clear communication and report preparation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
