We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our team at Sebenza LLC. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing our company's payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and review payroll for all employees, including salary, hourly, and commission-based employees
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including data entry and verification
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax withholding information, direct deposit, and other relevant data
Calculate and process bonuses, commissions, and other forms of compensation
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and other related issues
Stay up-to-date with federal and state payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports and analyses
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll processing
Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support
Continuously seek opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in payroll processing and analysis
Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations
Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
