Job Description The Office of Student Life seeks one Institutional Work Study student to work 10 hours per week during the Spring 2026 term as an ESports Assistant. Duties include scheduling events, ensuring alignment with institutional values, submitting IT tickets, maintaining the Vanguard Esports Lounge, and promoting Esports and the Gaming Club at tabling and recruitment events.
Responsibilities
Assist full‑time staff with scheduling events, tournaments, and programs
Ensure that student‑athletes and staff behavior, as well as program reputation, align with the institution’s values and mission
Submit IT work order tickets for technical issues with the equipment
Monitor and provide general cleaning of the Vanguard Esports Lounge
Promote Esports and the Gaming Club at tabling and recruitment events
Required Qualifications Novice or intermediate proficiency in gaming technology; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; evening and weekend work as required.
